Red Rose Oil
From Kelaat M'Gouna, the "city of roses" in southern Morocco, we bring you one of its most beautiful products: Moroccan red rose oil, derived from the rose and extracted by steam distillation of its fresh petals. This oil offers many benefits for the skin, face and hair.
For the skin
- Helps protect the skin from dryness and chapping and helps it retain moisture.
- Widely used in massage for its scent, which gives a feeling of relaxation.
- Softens oily skin and acts as an astringent that helps firm the skin.
- Helps limit the appearance of wrinkles and signs of aging.
- Helps reduce the appearance of stretch marks after pregnancy or weight changes.
- Helps brighten sensitive areas: apply externally only, with a cotton pad with rose oil added, once a day.
For the hair
After shampooing, dilute the rose oil with lukewarm water and massage it through the hair from the roots to the ends. It gives the hair a lovely scent and strengthens weak, brittle hair.
For the face
To brighten the face: mix three spoonfuls of yogurt, one spoonful of yeast, one spoonful of oats and half a spoonful of rose oil, with half a spoonful of lemon for oily skin or half a spoonful of honey for dry skin. Apply the mixture to the face and neck for 30 minutes, then wash off with warm water.
