Cosmetic benefits: softens and moisturizes dry areas of the skin, especially the feet, heels, elbows and knees.

Ways to use Vaseline for the face and hair:

• To moisturize the skin: moisturizing is one of the best-known uses of lemon Vaseline. It can be used on the face and body to moisturize dry skin. To get the most from it, apply it directly to the skin right after showering.
• To remove makeup: an effective and economical way to remove makeup, taking care to keep it away from the eye area.
• For hair ends: sun, wind and swimming can leave hair dry. Vaseline can reduce the look of split ends and add a touch of shine to the hair: put a small amount on your hands, then smooth it over the ends.
• While dyeing hair: apply it along the hairline as a barrier that keeps the dye from staining the skin, and it is easy to wipe off afterwards.

Note: when used on the hair it may leave an oily look, so wash the hair well with shampoo. You can also add a teaspoon of baking soda to the shampoo to remove any residue.
