Wadaa (cowrie shell) for the skin and how to prepare masks with it
The cowrie, or wadaa, is a small sea shell from the family of marine mollusks. A small soft-bodied creature lives inside it, carrying the shell on its back and crawling along with it like a snail. Cowries are found in warm seas and are known for their smooth texture and their different shapes and colors. They have been used since ancient times to make accessories and jewelry and in traditional beauty recipes. Cowrie is rich in natural calcium carbonate, iodine and natural salts.
